Product Description
This atlas includes full-color photographs of actual cadaver dissections instead of idealized illustrations, to accurately and realistically represent anatomical structures. Often used by students as an alternative or supplement to their lab experience, and as an introduction to exactly what they should see before they dissect, as well as a study aid before practical/identification exams.

best resource there is for gross lab November 27, 2008 K. M. Kemp (Fremont, CA) while netter is a classic and almost every med student has one, this book is much more realistic because they are actual cadavers. on your practical, the arteries will not be red, the veins won't be blue and the nerves won't be yellow. its a big help in the lab and studying for your practicals
Wow November 23, 2008 Michael S. Wolf (Nashville, TN) Excellent. Like having a cadaver in the library with you, without the smell! Great photos of the most meticulous dissections you will ever find, labeled well.
A class above others November 14, 2008 M. Hashim (Chicago, IL USA) I used this in medical school and it saved me. The dissections are amazing quality and are truly a form of art in themselves. I sold it off as a poor medical student but now that I am an attending ObGyn will be buying it again to teach my residents anatomical landmarks. If you use this for med school hold on to it for your clerkships - review relevant anatomy before every surgical rotation and use this book to help. You will find yourself coming to this again and again.
Best Study Aid Ever October 9, 2008 Amazon Fan This book is absolutely amazing and I highly recommend it for any anatomy student with lab practicals. Rather than having to find a partner, drive to the school, and sit in the lab with a bone box, I was able to study by myself in my own living room. I would not be without it!
This book is awesome September 30, 2008 Marie (Louisville KY) Everyone should buy this. It's way better than Netter's and is great to review before and after a gross anatomy lab.
