Practical Knowledge July 6, 2008 DrStewie Full of useful, practical knowledge for the wards. The how-to sections on procedures are especially helpful. Overall I great resource to refer to.
Not so much... February 13, 2008 J. Obando (CA) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
This book is ok, but not so much for NP students in family practice...more for acute hospital care.
Indispensible1!!! July 9, 2007 Ann G. Schremp (Princeton, NJ United States) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I have had this book in my library since the first edition and I buy the updates as soon as they are available. I recommend it to my (advanced practice nursing) students as a concise tool to keep up with the latest in procedures, medications, tests and imaging studies while maintaining and reviewing all the basic principles. And you can't beat the "Scut Monkey" name!! Ann Hirschman FNP
