Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
The fold-down foot rest gives you floor pump leverage and the hose means you lower the risk of ripping the valve stem as you pump. Padded T-handle provides comfortable inflation. Reversible head quickly converts from Presta to Schrader. Lightweight aluminum barrel.

Amazon.com Product Description
Every dedicated cyclist needs a good portable pump for his or her training rides. However, many on-the-go pumps are somewhat clunky and not all that easy to use. Enter the Topeak Road Morph G, which packs floor pump efficiency and ease of use into a compact, portable design you can bring along for the ride. The Road Morph G boasts a clever foldout footpad that stabilizes the pump against the ground rather than your hand, creating a comfortable, efficient pumping motion. Plus, the pump's flexible air hose makes it easy to work with awkward or tight valve placements while also helping prevent valve stem damage. Other features include an extra-long barrel, an inline gauge, a secure mounting bracket, a Presta/Schrader head, and a plastic thumb lock. The Road Morph G measures 2.2 by 13.8 by 1.1 inches (W x H x D) and weighs 0.49 pounds.

5 out of 5 stars Nice pump   January 1, 2009
J. Burns
My last pump got run over by a car after coming loose from it's tension-mount on a busy road. As a result, I am grateful for the nice secure mounting bracket with velcro strip for added insurance. The pump is nice and small, but pumps a lot of air with a lot less effort than other pumps I've used. I like the hose that prevents putting pressure on the valve while pumping. A few things that would make the pump better: 1) Make the handle a little wider in it's horizontal position, 2) Make the gauge more precise and easier to read. All in all, the best pump I've seen for my needs and at a good price too.

1 out of 5 stars Stupid and Frustrating   December 18, 2008
joe man. (santa barbara, ca)
Using a pump should not be this hard. The pump allegedly comes in the Presta valve setting and you can change the pump head to accommodate other valves. My tire valves were Presta so I was set to go. However I was not, for the pump head would not fit on the valve at all. All you are given is a stupid diagram on the back of the box showing you the anatomy of the pump head. I figured a piece was missing so I took the head apart and only two pieces were removable. I emailed the company and they said there should be three removable pieces not just two. The company offered to send me the missing piece but instead I opted to send the pump back. I really didn't think, from the size of the pump, it can do a good psi, but that is just from the feel of it.

3 out of 5 stars Topeak Road Morph pump   December 16, 2008
S. H. Gillen
Pros: comes with an air gauge
Cons: too bulky for my road bike

I bought this pump after I was out on a long ride and experienced two tube failures. I only carry two CO2 cartridges and soon found myself with less than manageable inflation due to a failure of the CO2 cartridge head. I liked the idea of an integrated gauge on the Topeak, so I bought it.
When I tried to mount it to my Specialized Grand Sequoia road bike, I found I did not like the mounting options and the seeming bulk of this pump. I returned it and bought a lower profile pump without the gauge.

5 out of 5 stars Excellent Pump!   December 3, 2008
E. West (Chicago, IL)
This pump is awesome because it truly offers floor pump ease of use, but frame pump portability. I have it strapped to my frame all the time, and the attachment is sturdy. Pumping is easy because the hose allows you to put the pump on the ground and push down; no broken valve stems or anything like you get with mini pumps. I can easily fill my mountain bike tires to 65psi, but I believe the reviews that say they achieve 100+psi. The gauge is nice, but probably not the most accurate as it seems to "click" every 5psi. I never used one before though, so accuracy isn't a big deal for me. The pump is small enough to put in my messenger bag too, so it doesn't have to be exclusively a frame pump. Buy it!

4 out of 5 stars Great but expensive   November 23, 2008
Marcus Norton (berryville, virginia)
This pump works really well and the gauge on it is accurate as well. Changing from different valves is really simple as well.
