Grandma is in the hospital, and Emily Elizabeth and her mother are taking cookies to cheer her up. Little do they know that Clifford, who loves cookies, has slipped into the cookie basket! Once inside the hospital, Clifford gets lost and finds himself in one mess after another, from knocking over staff members to posing as a newborn! Oh, Clifford! At last, Emily Elizabeth and her mother find Clifford and promise to take him home, since dogs aren't allowed in the hospital. Grandma is sorry to see Clifford leave, but Emily Elizabeth and her mother give her a toy dog that won't get into as much trouble! Now that Clifford is grown up, he visits the hospital often to cheer up the patients. Good dog, Clifford!
